Character Design
Bringing 3D Characters to Life Through Dance and Motion Animation
In this project, students use Character Creator to design and customize their own 3D characters, exploring character proportions, facial features, clothing, and overall appearance. After completing their characters, students select a dance performance video from the internet or record their own dance movements as a reference. Using the video, they practice creating dance animations by studying body movements, timing, rhythm, and poses. Students learn how to transfer real-life movements into 3D animation while improving their understanding of character animation, motion, and performance. This hands-on project helps students develop practical skills in 3D character creation, animation, and motion analysis, connecting real-world dance performances with digital character animation.
